When Arthur Shaw, the owner of the penthouse apartment in Josh Kovacs' building, is arrested for fraud, it turns out to be more of a disaster for Kovacs and the employee pension fund Shaw was managing, than Kovacs could ever have imagined. It looks as if the Feds won't be able to make the charges stick, but that doesn't help the people from whom Shaw stole twenty million bucks. If restitution can't be made legally, the only option is the other side of the law and Kovacs has a plan. Burgle the penthouse; get the funds. And with the help of some friends and a professional criminal called Slide, he just might pull it off.
