Movie: The Siege Of Pinchgut (1959)
Gaoled for a crime he didn't commit, Matt Kirk and three of his cronies escape prison and take refuge, as well as a couple of hostages, on Pinchgut Island, slap bang in the middle of Sydney Harbour. However, that innocence-proving plan doesn't work out. Things escalate when the men realise that there's an explosive-laden ship right where they need it to be and they have just the weapon to set up a display to rival anything that happens on New Years Eve and is ten times as deadly. Will the governor listen to them now?
