However, she is soon faced with another roadblock, this time with her lover Arthur Miller. When he is hauled up in front of Congress suspected of being a communist sympathiser, she puts principles first, risking her own position to support him. After the chargers are dropped, and they have a quick wedding, she travels to England to star alongside Laurence Olivier in The Prince And The Showgirl and is tipped for an Oscar for her role in Bus Stop.
