The word "slacker" was invented for Lee, a layabout Londoner with a pretty, not to mention tolerant, American landlady named Kate. Lee spends a lot of time flitting from job to job and boozing at the local pub. When he begins to develop feelings for Kate, he realises that he needs to grow up and get his act together.
