As a cyber-security engineer, Elliot must protect a particular organization. In his off hours, he trawls the internet as a highly skilled hacker. This has brought him to the attention of Mr. Robot who wants to use his skills to destroy corporations like the one Elliot works for. Elliot now finds himself in a dilemma; join forces with a forceful Mr. Robot, or go it alone.
