Daffy Duck's professional jealousy of Bugs Bunny gets the better of him and he quits the studio in high dudgeon. He joins up with expelled stuntman Damien Drake, as well as the VP of the corporation, and funnily enough, the Bunny himself, on a quest to locate Damien's Dad and the mysterious Blue Diamond. Naturally they have to achieve this while at the same time staying out of the nefarious clutches of the Acme Corp.
