The miners are our narrators and through them, and their specialist mining skills, we're drawn into the wider world of remote-area alluvial gold mining. The town of Clermont has estimated gold reserves of $A750 million and the gold price is trading at 10-year historical highs. There's a modern-day gold rush going on in the town of Clermont.
