Frank Abagnale, who's on a mission to restore his family fortune, uses his incredible acting skills to impersonate an airline pilot, a lawyer, a teacher and a doctor, and to rip off everyone in sight. Agent Carl Hanratty meanwhile, tries to chase him down and the two develop an unusual, almost familial relationship. Based on the true story of a skillful con artist and an FBI agent who played a global game of cat and mouse in the 1960's.
