Awake (2012)
Michael Britten and his family were involved in a tragic car accident. Following the crash, Michael, a detective with the LA Police Department, awakens to find himself living two alternating parallel lives – one in which his wife Hannah is alive and the other in which his son Rex is alive. Michael differentiates the two realities by wearing a coloured wrist band. Eventually, events in the two realities begin to overlap and unexpected events occur.

Struggling with the two worlds he finds himself in, Britten focuses on work. In one reality his partner is Detective Isaiah "Bird" Freeman and in the other it is Detective Efrem Vega. Due to his unique circumstances, Michael gains a unique perspective on crimes and finds that clues seem to cross over from world to world. Attempting to help Michael with his situation are his department assigned therapists - Dr. Evans in one reality and Dr. Lee in the other.

But as Captain Harper becomes increasingly concerned about Michael, Drs. Lee and Evans clash about his condition.
