Adapted from Phillip Gwynne novel, "Deadly, Unna?", This Australian film tells the story of an adolescent boy struggling with family conflicts and inter-racial turmoil in the lonely fishing village where he lives. Set in remote Prospect Bay on the South Australian coast, the story focuses on 16-year-old Gary Black, known as Blacky, a smart kid and an eager but unexceptional player on the local Aussie rules football team.
