Two English sisters, Agnes and Ellen, find themselves suddenly and surprisingly in charge of a vast and beautiful estate in Southern Italy. Ellen soon falls in love with the free-spirited beautiful life surrounding her. Although Agnes is initially reluctant she eventually succumbs to seduction... of a different kind.
