When Zohan Dvir decides its time to retire from his job as an Israeli special agent, he takes the direct route; pretending to die, he stows away on a plane to New York where he gets a job as a cleaner in a hair salon, working his way up to stylist. But he finds that politics can make their ugly presence felt even at a suburban hairdressers and Zohan must use the skills honed in his former profession to prevent a major international incident in his own back yard. Oh, and to win the girl.
