Carrie Wells is a New York Police Detective with an unusual medical condition called Hyperthymesia, giving her an extraordinary capacity to recall specific events from her personal past. Carrie can remember everything: every day, second and minute of her life, with details like times, smells, events, shadows, you name it. This gift, which does not always seem like one, enables Carrie to assist with police investigations in a most amazing way. There is only one day from her past that Carrie cannot remember, and it haunts her.
