At Lake Maracaibo in Venezuela, sheets of lightning rain down nonstop three hundred nights a year. But why? Why would lightning strike here more than any other place on Earth? Itâ€™s a question that continues to baffle scientists and illustrates just how mysterious and inexplicable our world is.
