Barney and the team encounter Conrad Stonebanks whom Barney thought he had killed. Now Stonebanks is determined to return the favour, and destroy the Expendables. But Barney knows that the key to survival is to recruit younger heroes who have a whole raft of technological skills which will give them the edge in any battle between old and new.
