In Casablanca, a boy is kidnapped by men in a mysterious van. In Paris, a plainclothes neighbourhood policewoman, Lt. Lucie Henebelle, begins to cry tears of blood and shoot her patrol partner. The case is assigned to Captain Sharko, a legendary homicide detective who is brilliant and stable in equal measure.
