Cody Maverick is a rock hopper penguin from Shiverpool, Antarctica, determined to follow his dream and compete in the Big Z Memorial Surf Off. Pity his friends don't believe he can do it. He braves the legend of Big Z, the waves of Pen Gu and the current champion, Tank Evans, but wipes out and that's when he meets Geek, who has a thing or two to teach him. But the teaching isn't all one way.
