The Carnegie Challenge Cup is a European knockout contest for amateur, semi-professional and professional clubs from Britain, France and Russia. Originating in Britain, it's over century old and due to its venerable age and the quality of the play, is one of the most eminent events in rugby league. The final is always held at Wembley Stadium after the traditional rendition of "Abide wit Me". Holders of the Cup for 2009 are the Warrington Wolves.
