Mann is a drifter who finds himself in Rosewood where racial prejudice rules, and African-Americans end up paying for their presence there with their lives. Not every citizen of Rosewood is full of hate. Store owner, John Wright, for example, teams up with Mann, to help the surviving African Americans escape.
