My Favourite Martian (1963)
What happens when you are a roaming Martian and you crash-land on the planet Earth, right in Tim O'Hara's backyard (or near enough)? Well first you acquire an instant nephew, a new identity, (Uncle Martin), and learn to keep your antennae down (literally). And then you (grudgingly) make your peace with being stuck in this galactic backwater full of primitives. Oh, and then you fall in love with a landlady called Lorelai, who somehow fails to notice anything interesting about you.
