Living in Porpoise Spit does strange things to people. Muriel isn't terrible though, she's just obsessed with weddings and ABBA. When the bright lights of the big city beckon, Muriel skips town to start a new life with her raunchy friend Rhonda. A sweet romance with a parking inspector develops but it's complicated by the unexpected offer of a "dream" wedding. A sharp-witted, classic Aussie comedy.
