Martin Clunes: Islands of the Pacific

Martin Clunes: Islands of the Pacific

In 1947, Norwegian explorer, Thor Heyerdahl wanted to prove that ancient mariners were able to cross the Pacific Ocean, so he set out from South America to the Polynesian Islands in a balsa wood raft. This journey is the inspiration which has led to Martin Clunes exploring the Pacific, from French Polynesia to the Galapagos Islands, in search of the 'real Pacific.
