When Prince Arthur's parents are murdered by his Uncle Vortigern, who then assumes the throne, an orphaned Arthur becomes a foundling who is brought up by the women in a local brothel. This upbringing leaves Arthur in ignorance of his true identity, but it also makes him street smart, as well as intelligent. Arthur has a natural kingliness based on a sense of fairness, justice and the ability to lead. All of these qualities come to his aid when the inevitable showdown between treacherous uncle and rightful heir takes place. A little bit of Druid magic working on Arthur's behalf also helps.
