Movie: Jindabyne (2006)
A short story by Raymond Carver (which may be familiar to those who've seen Robert Altman's movie Short Cuts) is relocated to Australia in this film by the director of Lantana. Stewart Kane is on a fishing trip with some mates when they find the naked body of an Aboriginal woman floating in the river. But rather than report her death to the authorities immediately, they wait until the fishing trip is over.
