Homicide: Life On The Street (1993)
As far as drama goes, it does not get much more real than this. This hard-hitting series details the high intensity excitement and danger of the Baltimore Police Department's Homicide Unit. Follow along as they work cases on the streets of the city that has previously been named the USA's murder capital. These officers are not your everyday heroes and are far from squeaky-clean. Adapted from David Simon's non-fiction book about the real Baltimore PD's Homicide Unit, the gritty violence comes with no sugar-coating and the line between right and wrong is often a blurry one.
