Kate Reed has entered the business her Father founded, but not as originally intended. Rather than be the hotshot lawyer fitting neatly into her recently-deceased Father's shoes, she's opted to become a mediator. However, now she must work under her step-mom, who isn't much older than Kate herself. It isn't going to be easy - will it even be possible? Perhaps Kate should begin by using her mediation skills on herself, because one thing's for sure; they may be forced to be colleagues, even antagonists, but they are always family.
