This is England in the 1960s and a young, ambitious Detective Constable named Endeavour Morse has joined the Oxford City Police Department. A prequel to the long-running adaptation of Colin Dexter's Inspector Morse novels. It's 1965 and Detective Constable Endeavour Morse returns to Oxford to investigate the disappearance of a missing schoolgirl. Soon he is risking all in a search for justice that will ultimately shape his destiny.
