When Poirot's doctor prescribes a couple of weeks at a health resort, a disgruntled Poirot obeys, but with very bad grace - especially when he sees his special diet. However, Poirot always was a lightning rod for murder, and he soon finds himself investigating the death of the beautiful, but feckless Arlena Stuart (who always was a murder waiting to happen). Did her unhappy husband do her in, or what about the woman waiting in the wings, then there's the stepson who loathed her. One thing's for sure, even though they're on an island, Poirot isn't short of a suspect or two. Or three.
