Agatha Christie's Miss Marple (2004)
Based on the popular novels by Agatha Christie, the series follows the adventures of Miss Jane Marple, a clever spinster who lives in a sleepy village in the southeast of England. Miss Marple often stumbles upon mysterious murders which she helps the authorities solve.

Tommy and Tuppence have aged, beautifully perhaps, but not gracefully. Tommy has become a Tory prig and Tuppence, to put not too fine a point on it, is usually half-sloshed. When Tommy's incredibly unpleasant Aunt Ada dies in her nursing home, only Tuppence's instincts for murder are aroused. Unable to convince Tommy, Tuppence launches an investigation of her own, where she joins forces with Miss Marple, who is always attuned to murder. Together the two women follow a trail of roses and half-comments to a village ruled by a doddering aristocrat, his sinister secretary and a deeply horrible child. Who was Lily; what secret lies in a painting and why should these women beware of chimneys?
