With the departure of an almost-but-not-quite-disgraced Brenda Leigh Johnson to the more rarified climes of the ADA's office, the incredibly efficient, if idiosyncratic team at LA's Major Crimes is down one tough lady leader. Luckily there's one waiting in the wings. Captain Sharon Raydor is every bit as gritty as Brenda, but without, perhaps, the sweet tooth. Ah, but will she and Provenza manage to make peace?
