Hank and Dean Venture are both well meaning idiots which guarantees them a whole heap of trouble - especially given their highly problematic dad, Dr. Thaddeus "Rusty' Venture. Then there's their super-violent secret agent bodyguard Brock Samson and his temporary replacement Sergeant Hatred, who is a very nasty character indeed. Keeping them firmly in his sights is their greatest enemy The Monarch - a super-villain with a thing for butterflies.
