In the seedy underbelly of Los Angeles' jazz scene, jazz singer Rock Banyon (Michael Kenneth Williams) is the prime suspect in a double murder. With only 72 hours to clear his name or fry in the electric chair, Rock and his ex-band singer Delores DeWinter (Kristen Wiig) embark on a dangerous quest for the truth that takes them into an abyss of sex, drugs, betrayal and of course, jazz.
