Movie: The Express (2008)
Based on the true story of Syracuse University football star Ernie Davis, the film follows Davis' youth in Pennsylvania and rise to fame. As an African American, Davis struggled with acts of racism and discrimination in America, growing up in the 1940s. He excelled in sports and won the Heisman Trophy in 1961, going on to play professional ball with the Cleveland Browns.
