Magnifica 70 (2015)
In the 1970s in the infamous Sao Paulo district of 'Boca de Lixo', a universal and timeless struggle is happening: the clash between forbidden desires, longing and repression, freedom and prejudice. Vicente, a 35-year-old 'paulistano' lives a safe but repressed middleclass life. His life changes when he gets his hands on the film 'A Devassa da Estudante' (The Hot Student) and has his first encounter with Dora Dumar. His fascination with her leads him to the red light district where he begins to work with Dora and Manolo, the chief producer of Magnifica Film Company. This seductive but chaotic world draws all three together in an obsessive triangle.
