A classic movie that paints the American Civil War in such bright, primary colours, that we almost live it. And there right in the middle, stands vividly beautiful Scarlett O'Hara, daughter of a man from the wrong side of the tracks made good. She's desperate to marry a son of the nouveau Southern aristocracy, (one generation wealthier than her). Scarlett may be spoilt and rich, but she's got all the toughness of her old man, and after she cries 'I'll never be hungry again' while Atlanta burns in the background, she proves it.
